Confidential ceiling price
A starting price of $10 (€9,10) is announced at the outset. However, FID Auctions also determines a ceiling price, which will remain confidential. In the process of bidding, the work is awarded to the highest bid within the limits of the ceiling price. This measure is aimed at maintaining the focus on the merits of the work and at keeping prices reasonable.
Confidential time limit
The work will automatically go to the highest bidder, regardless of the amount achieved by the bidding. The duration of the auction is random: the bidding can terminate at any moment (in any case, as soon as the ceiling price has been reached). This is to avoid bidders waiting for the last moment to place their bids. Of course the confidential time limit will work in favour of the most courageous bidders: those who take the risk of placing their bids at the outset.

Prix plafond confidentiels
Les enchères démarrent à 10$ (9€10). FID détermine aussi un prix plafond confidentiel. Ainsi, durant le processus des enchères, le prix du dessin ne peut dépasser un certain montant. Ceci afin de souligner la primauté de la valeur artistique tout en gardant des prix raisonnés.
Durée confidentielle des enchères
La pièce reviendra automatiquement au mieux-disant enchérisseur indifféremment du montant atteint par son enchère. La durée des enchères est aléatoire : si le prix plafond n’est pas atteint, la vente peut s’arrêter à n’importe quel moment. Ceci pour éviter que des enchérisseurs n’attendent la dernière minute pour enchérir. En revanche, la durée confidentielle rendra service aux plus courageux des enchérisseurs, à ceux qui sauront prendre des risques et enchérir dès le début.
